Acre (Akko)

 On Sunday a bunch of us students headed down to Acre (pronounced Akko...like the Arabic spelling of the town) and it was a breath of fresh air.  Seeing the coast of the Mediterranean was the best thing to happen to me all week.

The town itself was charming and had a lovely old market with some delicious treats! Of course there was a fresh supply of anything that swam in the sea. There wasn't much to do other than go to the beach and visit the market, but it's definitely a must see if you're into fresh air and old town charm.
