First we started out at the top of the wilderness. We hiked to the top of a nearby mountain and then spent a moment of complete silence at the top. I felt so close to God up there. Out in the wilderness it's just you, God, and a few shrubs here and there. Its complete reliance on him for survival.
Then we moved on to Jericho where we met these adorable Bedouin children. It was hard for them to smile at the camera in the sun :D The whole time we were there at the ruins (in the middle of the desert...where there is no tourist anything) they stayed by our side the entire time. We must have been the most entertaining thing to watch that day. Ha.
