This photograph was taken from the top of Mount Scopus. One side you have a good view of the Dome of the Rock and on the other side you stare off into the wilderness (that's the mountains in the background of this photograph).
The town in this picture is the last town supplied by natural water (meaning it doesn't have to have water pumped in). It's been there for centuries.
